Getting Started

4 articles

How do I create a Telos account?
Click "Request Access" on our homepage, enter your email and create a password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link and your account is ready. Invite code required for beta. You can immediately access paper trading and start exploring AI signals.
What is paper trading and how do I use it?
Paper trading lets you test Telos's AI signals and interface with simulated funds — no real money at risk. After signing up, your dashboard defaults to paper trading mode. You can place mock trades, view AI department verdicts, and monitor performance metrics before committing real capital.
How do I upgrade from paper trading to live trading?
Navigate to Settings → Connections, generate API keys on your preferred exchange with trading permissions, and enter them in the Telos dashboard. Switch your account from Paper to Live mode in the top-right dropdown. We recommend testing thoroughly in paper mode first.
What are the system requirements?
Telos is a web application — any modern browser on desktop or mobile works. We recommend Chrome, Firefox, or Safari with JavaScript enabled. The platform is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets, and desktops. A stable internet connection is recommended for real-time market data.

Exchanges & Connections

4 articles

Which exchanges does Telos support?
Telos connects to 8 major crypto futures exchanges: Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, MEXC, KuCoin, BingX, and Gate.io. We also offer a free MT4/MT5 EA bridge for forex, indices, commodities, stocks, and energy trading through any compatible CFD broker.
How do I generate API keys for my exchange?
Each exchange has its own API key generation process. Generally: go to API Settings in your exchange dashboard, create a new API key pair, enable "Futures Trading" permissions, and restrict IP access for security. Copy the API Key and Secret into Telos's Connections page. We provide step-by-step guides for each supported exchange.
Can I connect multiple exchanges at once?
Yes! Pro plan users can connect multiple exchanges simultaneously. Each exchange connection operates independently with its own AI signals, positions, and risk parameters. This lets you diversify across exchanges and take advantage of different liquidity pools and funding rates.
Why is my exchange connection not working?
Common causes: incorrect API key/secret, insufficient permissions (ensure Futures Trading is enabled), IP whitelist mismatch, or exchange maintenance. Check that your API keys are active and have not expired. If the issue persists, try regenerating your keys on the exchange and re-entering them in Telos.

AI Departments

4 articles

What are the 6 AI departments?
Telos has six specialized AI agents: Quantitative (mathematical models), Technical (chart patterns and indicators), Sentiment (social media and news analysis), Fundamental (on-chain data and macro events), Statistical (probability distributions and correlations), and Qualitative (high-level market judgment acting as CIO with veto power).
How does the consensus voting system work?
Each department analyzes markets independently and produces a signal with a confidence score. Signals are weighted by each department's historical accuracy. The Qualitative department acts as CIO — it can block conflicting signals and apply discretionary judgment. The final output is a single actionable trade with a unified confidence score.
Can I customize which departments are active?
Pro plan users can configure department weights, enable or disable specific departments, and adjust their parameters. Trader plan users get all 6 departments running at default weights. You can view each department's individual verdict in the dashboard in real-time to understand how the consensus was reached.
How accurate are the AI signals?
Accuracy varies by market conditions and department. Each department's historical win rate is displayed on your dashboard. The consensus system is designed to be more reliable than any single department by combining multiple independent analyses. Past performance does not guarantee future results — always use risk management tools.

Security

4 articles

How are my API keys stored and protected?
All API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. We run on Cloudflare Enterprise edge infrastructure. Telos never stores exchange passwords — only API keys with the minimum permissions required. You maintain full control over your keys and can revoke them at any time from your exchange.
What risk management features are included?
Telos includes multi-layer risk gates: drawdown limits, position size caps, correlation blocking, and volatility guards. There's a one-click Kill Switch to halt all trading immediately. You can configure maximum loss per day, per trade, and per position. All risk parameters can be tested in paper trading mode first.
Does Telos have 2FA and login security?
Yes. Telos supports two-factor authentication (2FA) via authenticator apps. All sessions are secured with encrypted tokens. We also provide session management to view and revoke active sessions, login history, and automatic timeout for idle sessions. Password requirements enforce strong credentials.
Can I limit what Telos can do on my exchange?
Absolutely. When generating API keys on your exchange, you can restrict permissions to read-only, trading-only, or specific operations. You can also set IP whitelists so keys only work from known locations. Telos respects these exchange-level permissions and will never attempt operations beyond what your keys allow.

Troubleshooting

4 articles

My trades aren't executing — what should I check?
First, verify your exchange connection status on the Connections page (green indicator = active). Check that your API keys have trading permissions enabled and haven't expired. Ensure you have sufficient balance on your exchange for the position size. Review the trade log in your dashboard for error messages from the exchange.
The dashboard is showing stale or missing data?
Refresh the page and check your internet connection. If market data is delayed, your exchange API may be rate-limited — try reconnecting your API keys. Clear your browser cache if charts aren't loading. For persistent issues, check our status page or reach out on Telegram.
How do I contact support?
Free plan users can get help through our Telegram community (@telos_trading) and community forums. Trader plan users get priority email support with 24-hour response time. Pro plan users receive dedicated support with direct messaging to our team and priority response within 4 hours during business days.
I'm seeing unexpected AI signal behavior — is something wrong?
Unusual signals can occur during high volatility or low liquidity periods — this is normal AI behavior, not necessarily a bug. Check the individual department verdicts to understand why the signal was generated. If you believe it's an error, screenshot the signal details and share it on Telegram or contact support with the trade ID.
